Kent State University
The Kent State University (also Kent State or KSU called) is a state university in Kent in the US state of Ohio . With 34,491 students, it is the third largest university in Ohio after Ohio State University and the University of Cincinnati . In addition to the main campus in Kent, there are other locations in Ashtabula, East Liverpool, Geauga, Salem, Stark, Trumbull and Tuscarawas. The college was founded in 1910.
On May 4, 1970, in the Kent State massacre, four students died in a hail of bullets from the National Guard called in to end the four-day protest against the US invasion of Cambodia .
