The University of Cincinnati is a state university in Cincinnati in the US state of Ohio . With around 42,000 students, it is the second largest university in Ohio after Ohio State University and before Kent State University . The college was founded in 1819. The Faculty of Music, the College-Conservatory of Music Cincinnati (CCM), is one of the most prestigious conservatoires in the United States and has produced many greats on the classical music scene.
