John William Rogan

John William Rogan (born February 16, 1865 in Hendersonville , Tennessee , † September 12, 1905 in Gallatin , Tennessee) is still the second greatest person in medical history.

At the age of 13, Rogan began to grow very quickly. Here, a developed ankylosis , so he did not go from 1882 or could stand. In 1899 he was already 259 cm tall and weighed 140 kg. He couldn't work, but made a living selling postcards and portraits of himself. He was often referred to as the "Negro Giant" in the newspapers. His hands were 11 inches long and his feet were 13 inches. He continued to grow until his death, when he was 2.67 m tall but only weighed 79 kg. Rogan died in September 1905 at the age of 40 of complications from ankylosis. He was buried under solid concrete in his family's yard to prevent exhumation .
