John Wood the Younger

John Wood the Younger (baptized February 25, 1727 or 1728 in Bath ; † June 18, 1782 there ) was an English builder .

The son of John Wood the Elder built mainly churches and country houses. He also completed the projects his father had started in Bath.

With the local circus he developed the design of the crescent , which was also used in London, among other places.
