John de Wolf (born December 10, 1962 in Schiedam ) is a former Dutch football player .
Life
He started his career in 1983 at Sparta Rotterdam . In 1985 he moved to FC Groningen for four years . He was then under contract with Feyenoord Rotterdam until December 1994 . At the beginning of 1995 he moved to the Wolverhampton Wanderers . For the 1996/1997 season he moved to VVV Venlo . One season later he moved to Hapoel Ashkelon in Israel . In the same season he left Israel and played for Helmond Sport from now on . He ended his career with Zwart Wit '28 . At the same club he worked as a coach in the 1999/2000 season. A season later he took over the coaching position at Halsteren . In the 2013/14 season he was the assistant coach of Jong Sparta Rotterdam , the youth team of Sparta Rotterdam.
He played six times for the Dutch national team and was part of the team at the 1994 World Cup in the USA .
After his career, he worked as a football expert for several Dutch private broadcasters . In 2006 he appeared on the Dutch version of Let's Dance .
