Johnette Napolitano

Johnette Napolitano (born September 22, 1957 in Hollywood , Los Angeles ) is an American rock singer, bassist and songwriter . She is best known for her work in Concrete Blonde .

Napolitano made a guest appearance in 1993 on the album Recipe for Hate by the American punk band Bad Religion . In 1996 she sang on the album No Talking Just Head by The Heads, the short-lived successor group of Talking Heads . In the Australian film West, which premiered at the Berlin International Film Festival in 2007 , she sang the theme song Falling in Love. In the same year she also had a guest appearance in the song I Am Where It Takes Me by the American supergroup Black Light Burns .

Napolitano has also released some solo albums: Sketchbook (2002), Sketchbook 2 (2006) and Scarred (2007).
