Johnny Muller
Johannes "Johnny" Müller (* 1915 ; † May 6, 1990 in Hamburg ) was a German harmonica soloist , clarinet and saxophone player .
Career
Müller played the harmonica in the NDR orchestra . In 1962, the NDR orchestra played the theme music ( Old Shatterhand melody ) for the film Der Schatz im Silbersee . Müller had a couple of solo appearances in the melodies. The melody was recorded in November 1962, and was released as a single by Polydor (52 399) in mono. Composer Martin Böttcher gave Müller insertions in other melodies. Müller is often mistakenly mistaken for René Giessen, who also played the Winnetou music. Müller died in 1990.
