Jolie Holland
Jolie Holland (born September 11, 1975 in Houston , Texas ) is an American musician , who uses elements u. a. from folk , country , blues and jazz united. She was one of the founding members of The Be Good Tanyas .
Life
The public became more aware of Holland when Tom Waits announced in an interview that he was a fan of their music. He also nominated her for the Shortlist Music Prize, which has been advertised since 2001 .
