action

A poor shoemaker and his wife barely have enough food to survive when they take a freezing elf into their house one cold evening . They share a coffee and the last, hard donut - the elf shows them that the pastries become soft again when you dip them into the coffee. The shoemaker and his wife go to sleep.

During the night, the elf appears with numerous friends and, in gratitude for the charity shown, makes numerous shoes in the shoemaker's workshop. The next morning the shoemaker is surprised and delighted with the numerous new shoes. The shoes become big sellers, the shoemaker and his wife get wealthy, and even the Queen pays the shop a visit. At a big party with coffee and donuts, the shoemaker and his wife finally thank the elves.
