Jon Yong-jin († 2014 ) was a North Korean politician and North Korean ambassador to Cuba . He was married to Jang Kye-sun, the older sister of Jang Song-thaek , who was executed in December . As part of a wave of purges carried out by Kim Jong-un among close confidants and employees of Jang Song-thaek, he and his wife were sentenced to the death penalty and executed together with Jang's former deputy O Sang-hon .
