O Sang-hon († 2014 ) was a North Korean politician. He was a member of the Politburo of the Labor Party of Korea and deputy minister for public security. He worked closely with Jang Song-thaek , who was executed in December . As part of a wave of arrests carried out by Kim Jong-un , he and Jang's older sister Jang Kye-sun and her husband, the ambassador to Cuba Jon Yong-jin , were sentenced to the death penalty in 2014 . According to unconfirmed information from the Chosun Ilbo newspaper , he was executed with a flame thrower .
