Jonas Čekuolis

Jonas Čekuolis (born September 25, 1970 in Vilnius ) is a Lithuanian journalist and politician.

Life

After graduating from Salomėja-Nėris Middle School in 1988 , he studied history at Vilniaus universitetas in 1992 and then studied politics at Aarhus University in Denmark . From 1993 to 1999 he was a journalist for the radio station Radiocentras , sports commentator for Lietuvos televizija , moderator for Baltijos televizija , 1999 press representative for Prime Minister Rolandas Paksas , from 1999 to 2000 director of "Baltijos viešųjų ryšių grupė". From 2000 to 2008 he was a member of the Seimas , from 2000 to 2001 in the Vilnius City Council .

From 1990 he was a member of Lietuvos liberalų sąjunga , from 2003 of Liberalų ir centro sąjunga .
