Jonas Čiulevičius
Jonas Čiulevičius (born December 13, 1934 in Kubiliūnai , Rajongemeinde Pasvalys ) is a Lithuanian politician .
Life
In 1945 his father was arrested and died in the gulag . His mother was also repressed. From 1942 to 1952 he learned in Saločiai with Pasvalys . After graduating from secondary school in Lazdijai in 1954 , he graduated with honors from the Faculty of Economics in 1963 and from 1971 to 1973 the traineeship at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija . In 1977 he received his doctorate from the Latvian Agriculture Academy and in 1990 he completed his habilitation in economics. He worked in the kolkhoz in Krinčinas and Porijai . From 1975 he taught at the Lietuvos žemės ūkio akademija. He has been a professor since 1992 . From 2000 to 2004 he was a member of the Seimas (with Pilietinės democijos partija ).
