Jonas Šimėnas

Jonas Šimėnas (born July 31, 1953 in Papiliai, Anykščiai district ) is a Lithuanian politician.

biography

From 1960 to 1964 he studied in Antalina , from 1964 to 1968 in Surdegis near Anykščiai , from 1968 to 1969 in the boarding sports school in Panevėžys , from 1969 to 1971 in Viešintos , from 1971 to 1972 at the 21st technical school in Vilnius . From 1973 to 1978 he completed his diploma in geology at the Faculty of Natural Science of the Vilniaus universitetas . From 1978 he worked as a geologist . From 1990 to 1992 he was a member of the Seimas . From 1993 to 1996 he worked as an assistant to Algirdas Saudargas and from 1996 to 2000 as senior specialist in the Lithuanian Ministry of the Environment . From 2008 to 2012 he was a member of the Seimas again.

He is a member of Tėvynės Sąjunga .
