Jonas Brun (born December 16, 1979 in Vällingby ) is a Swedish writer .

Life

He grew up in Vällingby, lives in Stockholm and studies psychology at Stockholm University .

In Sweden he was particularly known for his childhood descriptions. His first work was the novel Den andra tiden and was published in 2004. His latest work, Det amfibiska hjärtat , has given him the reputation of being one of the five to ten most promising Swedish writers of the next few decades.

In 2006, as part of a series of lectures by the Austrian Society for Literature , he presented his work in German-speaking countries for the first time.
