Jonas Gečas
Jonas Gečas (born March 29, 1953 in Teneniai , Šilalė district ) is a Lithuanian officer and diplomat .
Life
From 1971 to 1975 and from 1978 to 1980 he worked as a teacher. In 1980 he completed his diploma in geography at the Vilniaus pedagoginis institutas . From 1981 to 1985 he worked in the Ministry of Education of Lithuania . In 1992 he became a colonel . From 1991 to 1994 he was Deputy Minister of Defense of Lithuania and from 1996 to 1999 Military Attaché in Norway .
