Jonas Maximilian Niedermanner (born December 12, 1996 ) is a German basketball player. He is under contract with the Wiha Panthers Schwenningen .
career
Niedermanner comes from Eilenburg and did athletics and swimming before he started playing basketball as a teenager. The first station of his basketball club career was the BBV Wurzen, in 2010 he moved to the talent base in Leipzig, in 2013 he went to the sports high school in Halle and played for the U19 youth team of Central German BC in the youth basketball league . From the 2013/14 season he played for the university giants Leipzig in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB .
In May 2016, Niedermanner was awarded a three-year contract by Mitteldeutscher BC, won the championship title in the 2nd Bundesliga ProA with the Weißenfelsers in spring 2017 , but continued to play for Leipzig in the ProB during the season thanks to a double license.
For the 2017/18 season (as in 2015/16), he was given a license to play for the BG Bitterfeld-Sandersdorf-Wolfen (first regional league) in order to gain additional gaming experience in addition to his assignments at MBC. In the summer of 2019, Niedermanner moved to the White Wings Hanau in the 2nd Bundesliga ProB, after a year in Hesse, he accepted an offer from the second division Wiha Panthers Schwenningen .
National team
In 2014, Niedermanner took part in the Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing in the basketball variant “3 against 3” .
