Jonas Sela

Jonas Sela (* 23. January 1984 in Bergisch Gladbach ) is a German football - goalkeeper .

After several positions in the Bergisches Land , at SC Fortuna Köln and in the junior department of 1. FC Köln , Sela moved to the then top division club 1. FSV Mainz 05 II during the summer break in 2005 . In the Mainz professional squad, Sela was initially intended as the third goalkeeper. After a serious injury to the 05-regular goalkeeper Dimo Wache at the beginning of the second half of the 2005/06 season, he was promoted to the substitute goalkeeper of the Bundesliga team. Christian Wetklo was injured on the third last match day of the season , so Sela made his seven-minute first division debut. In the 2006/07 season, Sela played in the Mainz league team and was only fourth goalkeeper among the professionals. His contract, which expired in 2007, was not extended by the Mainz-based company.

At the beginning of 2008 he signed a contract with MVV Maastricht and in February 2009 he moved to SpVgg Bayreuth in the Bayernliga . In the 2009/10 season he joined the SpVgg Weiden in the Regionalliga Süd . From the 2010/11 season Sela was back under contract with SC Fortuna Köln .

In the 2014/15 season he played for the A-League club of the Berg football district (near Cologne), SV Eintracht Hohkeppel .
