Jonas Troest

Jonas Troest (born March 4, 1985 in Copenhagen ) is a Danish football player .

Career

The defender began his career at Tårnby BK and turned pro in 2002 at B.93 Copenhagen . Two years later moved to Silkeborg IF . From January 2006, the 25-time U-21 national player from Denmark was active at Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga . He played 8 games in the Bundesliga before his contract with Hannover 96 was terminated by mutual agreement on January 31, 2007 and Troest moved to Odense BK . After he completed 67 games for Odense BK from January 2007 to June 2010 and scored a goal, he joined the Turkish first division club Konyaspor in the summer of 2010 . On September 2, 2010 he resigned his contract with Konyasport after he did not receive a salary and returned to Odense BK. From 2011 to 2014 he played for SønderjyskE .

Private

Jonas is the son of the former heptathlete Anita Sølyst and the former 400-meter hurdle runner Jørgen Troest . Together with his brother Magnus , who is currently under contract with Atalanta Bergamo, he was also active as a track and field athlete for Amager Athletics Club in his youth .
