Jonathan Antoine (born January 13, 1995 in London ) is a British singer ( tenor ).
life and career
Jonathan Antoine is the son of John and Tracy Antoine - a police officer and a housewife who both describe themselves as unmusical. Jonathan's musical talent was discovered at the age of eleven at West Hatch High School in Chigwall. There he began to take singing lessons . At the age of 14 he received a place at the Royal Academy of Music .
Jonathan Antoine became better known in 2012 when he appeared on the British talent show Britain's Got Talent . As part of the Jonathan & Charlotte duo , he took second place in the overall ranking. This vocal duo lasted until 2014, releasing two albums, Together and Perhaps Love , both of which reached number five in the UK album charts.
From 2014 Antoine began a solo career, which also resulted in two albums. While he was able to build on the mutual success with his first album Tenore in 2014 and reached number 13, he missed the top 75 with Believe two years later .
