Jonathan Millieras (born May 19, 1993 in Beaumont ) is a French football goalkeeper .
Club career
Millieras moved in 2009 from the lower class club AS Montferrand to LB Châteauroux . There the then 16-year-old was not only used in the youth teams, but also in the fifth-class reserve team. In 2011 he moved up to the second-rate professional squad, but did not appear in his first season. Regular goalkeeper Vincent Fernandez ended his career at the summer break , so Millieras only had one competitor on the team besides Mickaël Caradec . He was initially able to prevail against this and was set as the first goalkeeper until mid-January after his second division debut on the first match day. At this point he was ousted by Caradec.
National team
Millieras was part of the French U-19 selection , for which he made his debut on October 7, 2011 in a 2-1 win over Ukraine. After this friendly match, he also took part in qualifying for the 2012 European Championship in Estonia. Actually, he was not included in the squad for the tournament, but jumped in after the injury of goalkeeper Maxime Dupé from FC Nantes . The 1: 2 defeat against England in the preliminary round of the European Championship was his only game in the tournament and his last game for the selection.
