Jones Buttress is a wedge-shaped rock massif on the Shackleton coast of the Antarctic Ross Dependency . In the Surveyors Range , it rises 3 km north of the Brown Buttress and extends into the eastern flank of the Dickey Glacier .

The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named it on 2003 after Llewellyn Ramsay Jones, who had been part of the winter team at Hallett Station on Cape Hallett as a member of the geomagnetic project in 1959 .
