Jonzon

Jonzon (born: Jürgen Stöckemann * 1960 ) is a German techno - DJ and - musicians .

Life

Stöckemann learned to play the drums in the 1970s and then worked with Dr. Motte member of the Berlin punk band Tote Piloten . In 1983 he also played the drums in the Berlin punk jazz band Zatopek . Since 1985 he has performed as a DJ in Berlin discos, including Blue Note and Bee Hive. He was also active as a drummer and performed with the band Caspar Brötzmann Massaker , among others .

From 1988 Jonzon organized together with Dr. Motte the first acid house parties in the Berlin club Turbine Rosenheim . Jonzon performed as a resident DJ alongside Kid Paul at Club Ufo , which opened shortly afterwards .

From 1991 onwards they also released their own records, some in collaboration with musicians like Harald Blüchel or DJ Hell .

After various illegal parties as Systems Reactivated in various Berlin locations, Jonzon was one of the resident DJs of the Berlin techno clubs Tresor , Planet and E-Werk in the 1990s, alongside Tanith and DJ Rok .
