Jorge Lazaroff
Jorge Ovidio Lazaroff Cesconi (born February 28, 1950 in Montevideo , † March 22, 1989 ) was a Uruguayan singer , guitarist and composer .
The son of a Bulgarian immigrant and a mother born in Salto , Uruguay, was born in the Montevidean district of Cordón as the eldest of three brothers. His brother Rosario has appeared as an author of literary texts, his brother Juan Eduardo as a composer.
In the course of his artistic career he recorded the four solo albums "Albañil", "Dos", "Tangatos" and "Pelota al medio". He also belonged to the groups Los que Iban Cantando , Vale 4 and Patria Libre and was involved in the beginnings of the Canciones para no dormir la siesta project.
He was also a fan of the Uruguayan football club Danubio Fútbol Club founded by his father .
