Jorge Mario Jáuregui (* 1948 in Rosario ) is an Argentine- Brazilian architect who lives in Rio de Janeiro .

life and work

Jáuregui graduated from the Universidad Nacional de Rosario . He is a professor at the Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro . Jorge Mario Jáuregui was the head of the Favela Bairro project, which was launched by the city of Rio de Janeiro in the mid-1990s. For documenta 12 he published the installation Urdimbres in the temporary Aue Pavilion.
