Jorge Urrutia Blondel

Jorge Urrutia Blondel (born August 17, 1905 in La Serena , † July 5, 1981 ) was a Chilean composer.

From 1928 he studied in Paris with Nadia Boulanger , Vincent d'Indy and Paul Dukas and at the Stern Conservatory in Berlin with Paul Hindemith and, after his return in 1931, taught harmony at the University of Santiago de Chile . He composed a ballet , piano pieces and chamber music works.
