Jorrys von Schaesberg († May 17, 1562 ) (actually Georg von Schaesberg) was the head of the Lower Rhine noble family von Schaesberg .

Life

Jorrys was the son of Wilhelm IV and Christina geb. from Hochkirchen. His first marriage was on September 24, 1510, when he married the wealthy Anna Judenkop von Streithagen. The marriage has five children. Michael, Reinhard and Christine chose the spiritual status . Wilhelm founds the “Schaesberg-Streithagen” sideline. Johann the firstborn , continues the line from Schaesberg. In his second marriage, Jorrys married on July 28, 1540 with Merryn Elisabeth von Bouysdell. The marriage remained childless.

Jorrys died on May 17, 1562 in an unknown location.
