José Alfredo Castillo Parada (born September 2, 1983 in Santa Cruz de la Sierra ) is a Bolivian football player .

Career

He began his career in 2001 with the Bolivian first division club Oriente Petrolero . A year later he moved to UAG Tecos in Mexico in the top Mexican league . In 2001 Castillo was world scorer in 2001 with 42 goals in 39 games. In 2004 he gave a positive doping test at Club Bolívar and was suspended. After engagements with Rosario Central in Argentina and CD O'Higgins in Chile , Castillo played with the Brazilian Atlético Mineiro from Belo Horizonte .

Between 2001 and 2011 he was called up to the Bolivian national team 24 times and scored six goals.
