José Antonio Valdivia Prieto is a retired Mexican soccer player in the position of goalkeeper .
career
Valdivia was under contract with Club Deportivo Guadalajara in 1969 and in the early 1970s, but was rarely used behind the then national goalkeeper Ignacio Calderón . Nevertheless, the 1969/70 season was the most successful season of his career, when he was part of both the roster of the Rojiblancos champions team and the winning team that won the cup and the Supercup .
He then spent some seasons with city rivals Club Social y Deportivo Jalisco and ended his active career in the 1978/79 season in ranks of Club Deportivo Tampico .
