José Corti
José Corti (born January 14, 1895 in Vitry-sur-Seine , Département Val-de-Marne , † December 25, 1984 in Paris ; actually José Cortocchiato ) was a French author and publisher .
José Corti founded the Librairie José Corti in Paris in 1925 and specialized in the works of the Dadaists and Surrealists . He was the publisher of André Breton , Paul Éluard , Louis Aragon , Gaston Bachelard , Salvador Dali and Julien Gracq ( Au château d'Argol , 1938, and Le Rivage des Syrtes , 1951).
