José Eugenio Ellauri

José Eugenio Ellauri Obes (born November 15, 1834 in Montevideo , † May 27, 1894 ibid) was a Uruguayan politician .

The son of the President of the first constituent assembly of Uruguay, José Longinos Ellauri , was first foreign minister from March 1 to March 8 in 1868 under the presidency of Lorenzo Batlle . Later, the Partido Colorado member Ellauri was then from February 15, 1873 to January 15, 1875 President of Uruguay .
