José Luis Bitabares Dominici (* in La Paloma ) is a Uruguayan football coach .

Career

Bitabares was already working as a coach at Rocha FC from December 2004 . From December 2008 to March 2010 he trained Rocha's department selection . Also in October 2012 he will be the coach of Rocha FC. In November 2012, however, he resigned his position due to a lack of support from the club's management. He also gave outstanding salaries for his assistant coach Miguel Cola for half a year as a reason. From the same day, however, there are also reports that he has resumed his activity after an agreement was reached with club president Antonio Pereyra Montes. On September 8, 2013 Rocha FC announced that it has taken over the coaching position for the team competing in the Segunda División . At the same time, Bitabares resigned from his previous duties in the association's management bodies. Since then, Camilo Bitabares has been at his side as assistant coach.

Bitabares hit the headlines when he beat up journalist Gustavo Rodríguez and injured his face on February 27, 2015 while his club was preparing for the 2015 Clausura on the sidelines of a friendly against the Maldonado departmental selection. In May 2015, his engagement as a coach at Rocha FC ended. Since then he has been without a club.
