Josef Šulc
Josef Šulc (born September 12, 1907 in Staré Čivice , Kingdom of Bohemia , † July 10, 1977 ) was a Czechoslovak marathon runner .
In 1931 he was Czechoslovakian champion and in 1932 eighth in the Košice marathon .
In 1933 he set his personal best as second in the Austrian Championship with 2:37:31 h and was third in Košice. The following year he won after a ninth place at the European Athletics Championships in Turin in 1934 at the Czechoslovak Championship and in Košice.
In 1936 he became Czechoslovakian champion for the third time and came in 38th place at the Olympic Games in Berlin .
In 1941 and 1942 he became Czech champion.
