Josef Bauchinger

Josef Bauchinger (born January 18, 1880 in Hohenzell, Upper Austria ; † March 23, 1962 there ) was an Austrian farmer and politician .

Bauchinger, a farmer in Hohenzell, was a committee member of the Upper Austrian Farmers' Association in Wels in the first few years after the First World War and from 1919 to 1927 a member of the Landtag for the Landbund . When he met the Greater Germans in the National Council elections in 1927 and left the Landbund, he was forced to resign from his Landtag mandate, which he then did. He also struggled economically. When the Suben sugar factory , as its chairman of the board, collapsed, he lost a lot of his own money.
