He then played again for Teplice before running up for SK Rakovník in the 1988/89 season. Then he returned to UD Příbram. From 1992 to 1996 he let his career end with the Lower Bavarian club TSV Waldkirchen.

Coaching career

While he was still playing, Csaplár was already working as a youth coach at UD Příbram . In 1996 he took over the B team. In 1998 he became the head coach of the first division team, after only six points from twelve games in November 1998. He then worked as an assistant coach in Příbram .

In April 2005, Slavia ended their collaboration with Csaplár prematurely when the team was only on a disappointing fourth place.

For the 2005/06 season Csaplár signed a two-year contract with Panionios Athens, but was dismissed after only three months in office. At the end of 2005 he took over the Polish first division club Wisła Płock , with whom he won the Polish Cup in 2006.
