Josef Eberl
Josef Eberl (born April 15, 1947 ; † April 20, 2019 in Fulpmes ) was an Austrian table tennis player from the 1960s.
Career
Josef Eberl became Austrian youth champion in 1965. A year earlier he had won the Austrian team championship with the club TSV Fulpmes. At the national championships for adults , he reached the final in 1964 in singles and in 1967 with Klaus Bacher in doubles.
In 1965 and 1967 he was nominated for the World Championship and in 1966 for the European Championship . He never came close to medal ranks.
Eberl was married and had a son.
