Josef Heinrich

Josef Heinrich (born March 29, 1879 in Karlsruhe ; † November 15, 1955 there ) was a German politician .

Life

Heinrich joined the Karlsruhe city administration in 1896 after completing his secondary school leaving certificate and had been city director since 1937. He was thus subordinate to a party member of the National Socialists as an official board member. In 1945 he was appointed acting mayor from April 4, 1945 to August 2, 1945 by the French occupying forces. A year later he retired.

On September 17, 1954, he received the Federal Cross of Merit, 1st Class.
