Josef Leonhard Kränzle (born May 25, 1944 in Illertissen ) is a German entrepreneur, local politician and patron .

Life

Born and raised in Illertissen, the son of Leonhard Kränzle (worker) and Johanna (home worker), he attended the local elementary school from 1951 to 1958 . His first job was that of a "snack boy" at the Wieland works in Vöhringen (Iller) . There he completed an apprenticeship as an iron lathe operator , which he completed in 1962 with the journeyman's examination. In addition to his four-year job as a pieceworker in shift work , he also completed a higher education as a master at the Chamber of Crafts . From 1967 to 1974 he was a full-time apprentice trainer and head of the training workshop for his employer. In 1974, a used lathe was used to build a high-pressure cleaner in his garage . In addition to numerous patents , in 2001 he set up a second facility for 150 employees in his hometown on the site of the former Adlus works. In the local elections in 1996, he ran successfully as a city councilor and district councilor. From 2002 he held the office of 3rd Mayor before he was elected 2nd Mayor in 2008.

The married father of two, Kränzle, is, among other things, an important sponsor of the local football club FV Illertissen . In 2006 he donated a carillon made in the Netherlands to the parish church of St. Martin .
