Josef Kranz (architect)

Josef Kranz (born February 28, 1901 in Brno , † May 30, 1968 in Znojmo ) was a Czech architect .

Life

Josef Kranz studied architecture from 1919 to 1926 at the Czech Technical University in Brno under Emil Králík and Adolf Liebscher .

He then worked in Jiří Kroha's architectural office in Mladá Boleslav (Jung Boleslav ). From 1928 to 1929 he worked for the Bohuslav Fuchs architectural office in Brno. From 1929 to 1949 he was an architect at the Post Office in Brno. In 1933 he joined the Association of Socialist Architects.

From 1949 to 1954 he worked for the architecture firm Stavoprojekt and from 1954 to 1968 Spojprojekt in Brno.
