Josef Kraus is a former Czechoslovakian ski jumper .
Career
Kraus started his first and only international competition in the 1970/71 Four Hills Tournament . After jumping to 36th place on the Schattenbergschanze in Oberstdorf and 46th place on the Great Olympic Hill in Garmisch-Partenkirchen , he surprised with fifth place on the Bergiselschanze in Innsbruck . After he also achieved a good place on the Paul-Ausserleitner-Schanze in Bischofshofen with the eighth place, he finished the tour with 836.6 points in the 16th place in the overall ranking.
