Josef Kugler (pastor)
Josef Kugler (born July 11, 1871 in Brixen , South Tyrol, † May 7, 1940 in Lienz ) was an Austrian pastor and local researcher.
Josef Kugler was ordained a priest in 1894 and worked in pastoral care from 1895. From 1903 he was provisional and from 1906 definitive pastor in Hollbruck, a district of Kartitsch in East Tyrol. From 1909 he was pastor in Leisach in East Tyrol.
In addition to his work as a pastor, he was also a local researcher. He was also a sponsor of the painter sculptor Josef Bachlehner , from whom he had three winged altars made for the parish church in Leisach.
