Josef Lemisch
Josef Lemisch (born May 31, 1862 in Sankt Veit an der Glan , † February 1, 1918 in Klagenfurt ) was an Austrian politician .
Life
Lemisch was born as the offspring of the oldest Carinthian ironworks family Rauscher von Stainberg and the son of a doctor. His mother was Fanni Lemisch, who from 1888 built the Rainerhof on Neuer Platz in Klagenfurt and the listed villas Villa Seewarte and Villa Seeblick in Pörtschach . His brother was Arthur Lemisch .
After attending grammar school in Klagenfurt, he studied law in Innsbruck . During his studies in 1880 he became a member of the Suevia Innsbruck fraternity . He was promoted to Dr. iur. PhD . After graduating, he worked as a lawyer . From 1896 to 1918 he was a member of the Carinthian state parliament for the city of Klagenfurt . Among other things, he also worked as deputy governor.
