Josef Lenzenweger

Josef Lenzenweger (born February 13, 1916 in Weyer (Upper Austria) , † February 20, 1999 in Vienna ) was an Austrian Roman Catholic church historian .

Life

From 1975 to 1987 he taught as full professor of church history at the Catholic-Theological Faculty in Vienna . Before that he was from 1965 professor for church history at the Ruhr University Bochum . In the Upper Austrian State Archives its scientific estate is kept.
