Josef Lukowiak

Josef Lukowiak (born August 24, 1921 in Oberhausen ; † September 13, 1989 ) was a German CDU politician .

education and profession

After finishing primary school, Josef Lukowiak completed an apprenticeship as an electrician. He did military service and was captured. After the Second World War, he took part in the 3rd course of the Social Academy in Dortmund and continued his education in evening courses. Lukowiak worked as a company electrician at Hüttenwerk Oberhausen AG . He was a member of the Catholic Labor Movement (KAB) and from 1945 of IG Metall.

Josef Lukowiak was a member of the CDU from 1945. He acted as chairman of the district committee of the Christian Democratic Workers' Union (CDA) Oberhausen. He was also the chairman of the representative assembly of the company health insurance funds. He became a member of the Oberhausen City Council from 1961.

From July 25, 1966 to July 25, 1970, Josef Lukowiak was a member of the 6th state parliament of North Rhine-Westphalia , which he entered via the state list.
