Josef Marxer (politician)
Josef Marxer (born November 29, 1889 in Gamprin , Liechtenstein ; † January 21, 1972 there ) was a Liechtenstein farmer and politician ( VP , later VU ).
biography
Josef Marxer was the son of the farmer Anton Marxer and his wife Maria (née Hasler). He was a citizen of Gamprin parish and worked as a farmer. From 1924 to 1936 he was a member of the parish council of his home parish and then from 1936 to 1945 he held the office of mayor . From 1945 to 1953 he was a member of the state parliament of the Principality of Liechtenstein . He was also a member of the Supreme Court from 1930 to 1939.
In 1913 he married Fridolina Mündle. The marriage had ten children.
