Josef Nadj (choreographer)

Josef Nadj , (* 1957 in Serbia ) is a Hungarian dancer and choreographer .

Career

Josef Nadj first studied art and music history in Budapest at the Hungarian Academy of Fine Arts . In Paris he studied with Marcel Marceau and Étienne Decroux . In 1986 he founded the Théâtre Jel company. From 1995 to 2016 he was director of the Center chorégraphique national of Orléans . For his choreographies he worked with Dominique Mercy , Miquel Barcélo and Joëlle Léandre , among others .
