Traugott Ahlemann

Friedrich Traugott Ahlemann (* 1804 ; † November 1, 1882 ) was a German local politician and parliamentarian.

Life

Traugott Ahlemann studied law at the Universities of Leipzig and Berlin . In 1824 he became a member of the Corps Lusatia Leipzig . In 1832 he was elected mayor of Spremberg . In 1841 he moved to Guben as mayor , where he was in office until 1860. In the following years he was director of the Brandenburg Fire Society .

Ahlemann belonged from 1849 to 1851 as a non-attached member of the Lower House of the Prussian State Parliament for the constituency of Frankfurt 7 . On January 20, 1851, he resigned from his seat.
