Josef "Jupp" Nehl (born June 13, 1961 in Aachen ) is a former German soccer player .
Career
Nehl began his professional career at VfL Bochum in the Bundesliga in the 1986/87 season, in which he completed 32 games and scored three goals in the first season. Jupp Nehl began the 1991/92 season at VfL Bochum, but before the winter break he switched to league rivals Bayer 04 Leverkusen , where he ended his professional career in 1996.
He played 201 Bundesliga games in his career and scored 28 goals. His greatest success was winning the title at the 1992/93 DFB Cup with Bayer 04 Leverkusen.
The business graduate has been managing director of the DFL's own TV production company since 2006 .
