Josef Niessen
Josef Niessen (born November 24, 1922 - † January 26, 1994 ; other name: Dave Daffodil ) was a German arranger and composer of entertainment, hit and film music.
Live and act
Niessen studied composition and church music at the music academies in Berlin and Cologne. From 1945 to the late 1960s he was a conductor at Bayerischer Rundfunk . He then worked as a freelance musician and composer.
Josef Niessen became known through numerous recordings with saxophone instrument titles.
From 1954 to 1966 he was married to Ilse Werner .
His grave is in the mountain cemetery in Bad Wiessee .
