Josef Pleyl

Josef Pleyl (born March 13, 1902 in Vienna ; † August 7, 1989 there ) was an Austrian politician ( SPÖ ).

Life

After attending primary and secondary school, Josef Pleyl learned the profession of plumber . He held his first political mandate from December 1933, when he was sworn in as a member of the Federal Council for his home state Vienna . However, until February 1934, he was Federal Councilor for just under a month and a half.

In 1945 Pleyl moved in for the SPÖ as a member of the Vienna state parliament and municipal council , to which he was to belong for 16 years until 1961.

Pleyl was buried at the Kagran cemetery in Vienna.
